2010 Color Trends
Now that 2009 is firmly behind us many will want to freshen up our homes. While it is impractical for most of us to start new and update every thing in our homes every time the color palette changes, it is feasible to add a splash of new color here and there to help us stay current and vibrant. I was fortunate to attend a seminar given by Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute®.
“Color trends are not conjured up using a crystal ball. They are the result of much observation of our surrounding natural world as well as the influences that will impact our world in the future,” said Leatrice Eiseman, “These factors include socioeconomic issues, technology, lifestyles and playstyles, diversions, entertainment, and most importantly, the needs, moods, fantasies and aspirations of consumers.”
